The following is a roadmap of planned features to implement in the pulsus paradoxus training simulator.
-
0.1.0
Done
Initial prototype
Implement core learning loop: a tool that lets the learner obtain BP measurements, take notes on them, and submit a response to receive feedback. -
Improve educational scaffolding
In progress
Introduce additional scaffolds: validation of learner BP recordings, and validation of arithmetic. Four scaffolds are in place, with a plan for 2-3 more. -
Learning mode and skill practice mode
Planned
Implement a game mode where microskill scaffolds are used at first and the learner reduces their use of the scaffolds until they are performing the skill independently. In addition to a practice mode (more similar to the current tool) where the default is for no scaffolds to be in use. -
Stylistic improvements
Planned
Make the simulator less "tool-like" and more "game-like" in terms of styling.
